GLASS
The glass is crushed to calcine (selected, clean and ground glass). The calcín allows to make glass containers exactly the same as the original ones. But the recycled glass requires a lower melting temperature than the original raw materials (sand, soda and limestone) and, with this, less energy is consumed in the manufacturing process of new containers.
Secondary markets for glass recycling may include:

- Glass in ceramic sanitary products
- Glass for brick making
- Glass on artificial grass;
- Sand for golf bunkers
- Sinks and kitchen tables
- Water filtering systems
- Glass as an abrasive material
- Glass as an aggregate in construction materials.
